1 week til Mother's Day 1 week til Mother's Day 1 week til Mother's Day. One more week of sappy commercials and even sappier Lifetime specials...I can do it! Mother's Day is so bittersweet for me. I love and appreciate being recognized by those who send me well wishes on this day, but it doesn't take away the sting that the "holiday" brings on at full-force. ReplyDeleteI feel the same exact way. People wish me "Happy Mother's Day" but I don't feel like a mom because I don't have Chloe with me. It feels so entirely awkward. It's nice to know someone else out there knows that feeling. It's hard to make people understand who haven't been there.
